ABOUT 63

63 Building at Han River sunset

BEYOND SEOUL'S LANDMARK, LIFE MEETS ART

Symbolizing the Seoul skyline, 63 Building has long stood as a landmark representing South Korea.
In 1985, a 249-meter tower rose along the Han River in Yeouido.
Asia's tallest building at the time, with Korea's first IMAX theater and a large aquarium,
it drew over 30,000 visitors on its opening day, ushering in a new era for Seoul.
As a symbol of the Miracle on the Han River,
it became a space where school field trips and family memories from across the country layered over time.

Long remembered as a special place — alongside the urban scenery unfolding with the flow of the Han River —
63 Building is now being reborn as more than an observatory: a complex space where culture and experience meet.

From sweeping views at the observatory to art at the gallery, retail spaces curated with sensibility from around the world,
and relaxing moments across diverse F&B venues —
63 Building aims to be more than a place of consumption: a space where culture and taste connect.

Where the city's flow pauses, new culture begins.
A place where the gaze upon Seoul lingers, and where new stories connect.
63 Building, redefined.

DISSOLVE BOUNDARY

Through alleys, plazas open; closed spaces breathe again. Without a fixed path, the direction you walk becomes the story. Time at 63 Building is shaped not by destination, but by flow.

BRAND IDENTITY

The 63 Building symbol is built on the structure of ‘6’ and ‘3’ organically connected — a visual expression of a brand concept where people and relationships are linked.

The two numerals merging into a single flow embodies the philosophy of connection and expansion mentioned earlier, while drawing inspiration from the window-module pattern that defines the 63 Building facade.
